Daugherty Family | Welcoming Baby Logan | VA Beach Family Photographer

Lauren and Michael are so excited to have their little guy Logan join their family! It was a tough pregnancy for Lauren as she spent many weeks on bed rest ensuring that her son would have a safe arrival into this world. Once he was finally ready, he ended up needing a little coaxing to come out, but Logan finally made his appearance at a whopping 9 pounds 7 ounces!! He joins big sister Emma who tried to be my assistant during our at-home session, placing makeup brushes and purses down for me to practice focusing on! Haha!

Megan & Chris | Love At First Sight | Maternity Session

Megan & Chris are so eagerly awaiting their sweet baby girl’s arrival! They made sure to get their maternity portraits done a little bit early before Chris leaves for deployment at the end of the month. I will tell you, this couple needs very little direction at their photo shoots! Chris’ love for Megan and his new baby is so apparent! He could barely keep his hands off his gorgeous wife’s growing belly and had no problem at all giving her belly lots of kisses!! I was so excited to work with this family again and capture such a special time in their lives. There’s nothing like it!!

Yay For Harper Rhea | 2nd Birthday Celebration & Full-Speed Chase | VA Beach Photographer

Oh, little Miss Harper Rhea. Seriously never a dull moment with this girl!! If you want to have some fun, hang with Harper! I definitely got my little preggo workout in chasing this firecracker all over for her 2nd Birthday Celebration session! Harper is FAST, but oh so sweet and witty, stating, “I AM the princess!” Her grandma asked her if she had any sugar yet, and she responded, “I AM the sugar!” A couple accidental dips in the fish pond and pool and it was quite the event. Haha!

One of my favorite moments? When Harper opened up some pretty sparkly pink shoes, her face lit up and she exclaimed, “Shoes!!” and subsequently hugged and caressed her new favorite foot apparel. 🙂
